This is the first High Speed, Satellite based VSAT network .It provides for high speed data transfers and voice communication covering the entire country. The VSAT network consists of a HUB station and number of VSAT’s / Personal Earth Stations (PES) located through out the country.

The VSAT communicate to the Hub Through the THAICOM / TIW Satellite. All Vsat’s are connected in STAR/ MESH topology and Vsat to Vsat communication is through HUB . The Vsat which is required to be installed at subscriber’s premises consists of three units, namely an Outdoor Unit, an Indoor Unit and Inter Facility Link (IFL) Cable Interconnecting the two Units.

The Outdoor Unit contains the Antenna assembly & associated RF Equipment’s. the antenna is of 2.4 meter diameter parabolic type and can be installed easily in any open space and requires a floor area of about 4mt * 4mt.

The RF equipment include an Up converter, Down converter, Solid state power amplifier which together comprise the ODU and Low noise amplifier which are installed on the Antenna. The ODU and DIU are connected by means of IFL cable, which carries the telecom signals and power supply. The IFL cable can be up to 100 meter long.
